Ami Jones

Personal Details
Ami is a young, emerging actor, writer and theatre-maker based in London. Most recently, she has written, developed and performed Shrew, a solo show based on one of literature's most puzzling, alarming and problematic women - Katharina from Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Shrew prods her, shakes her up and turns her inside out to create a piece which asks what it means to be someone, what it means to be a woman and what it means to be trapped in our own underwhelming destinies. Following a successful run at the Buxton Fringe and the Edinburgh Fringe, Shrew will be transferring to New York in October 2014.
